Tuna Nicoise Salad

Ingredients:

3 inch sushi grade tuna steak 
1 cup toasted sesame seeds 
2 Soft boiled eggs 
Steamed Green beans Arugala 

Herb Dressing:
1/2 cup of the olive oil 
Parsley 
Red onion 
Basil 
Cilantro
Capers 


Preparation

  1. Salt and pepper Tuna Steak. Place sesame seeds on a plate and press tuna steak onto seeds until fully coated all around. In a very hot pan sear tuna on both sides, for approx 45 seconds - 1 minute. Take out and put aside. (this can be done one day in advance, let cool, and put in the fridge covered)

  2. Prep steamed green beans and 6 minute soft boiled egg. 

  3. For the chimchurri; chop all ingredients very small, add olive oil and let it sit (can be made one day in advance) 

  4. In a large platter, or individual plate, scatter Arugala or, slice tuna and place on top, add eggs and green beans and drizzle with herb dressing.
